Discipleship Training Program
Our Discipleship Training Program is a two year discipleship training internship where 2 Timothy 2:2 men are challenged to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus while living out what they are learning in gospel community.
Areas covered over the two year period include: The Christian Life; Sanctification in Gospel Community; The Disciplines of a Godly Man; Hermeneutics and Systematic Theology.
For the City
Here at Grace, we believe every member is a missionary sent by a missionary God to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ in the context of our community. We do this throughout our daily lives by loving, serving and seeking for the peace of our city with gospel intentionality.
For the City reflects a few of the expressions how we are to live out the gospel in the context of our city Mitchell and Lawrence County. The Hope Resource Center is a place where we can counsel and help out those in crisis situations. Other ways are through support of the food pantries and a weekly reading-mentoring program through our schools. Just as 1 Thessalonians 2:8 states, we don’t only want to share the gospel with our city, but also share our lives with them because they are so dear to us.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
Foundations, is a thirteen week one-on-one bible study covering the basics of the Christian faith.
